True Dignity

True dignity is....

1. Letting the weaker party win when you know that you are better (making others feel good is giving love to others and it makes you feel rich!)

2. You know that you have done something good when nobody knows (true character is when nobody knows, but God knows and He'll bless you!)

3. You state your views/opinions without having to win the argument, and when someone uses words to win an argument, you withdraw (don't fight or you may win the 'battle' but lose the relationship. Which is more valuable?)

4. Refuse to get mean when others provoke you (do what the devil did and you lose your peace and become the devil too. Calmly let him know that you don't like what he did or ignore it.)

5. Give love to someone who hasn't been very nice ie. help, acceptance (love can transform a person from bad to good. After all, all of us have the good and bad in us, and we expect others to accept us).

6. Not needing others' praises over your achievements (know that you're good and keep going. When people don't praise, they're indeed jealous that you're so good.)

7. Share the blame when someone in your group makes mistakes (group harmony yields better result)

False dignity is....

1. Criticise/punish someone harshly when he does wrong to make sure he feels the pain and change for the better (Let God judge and punish, for our judgment may not be 'just' as the Bible says, Judge justly! Most human judgment is based on limited knowledge, for we can limited by what we see on the surface - the reason for a bad behavior).

2. Revenge to restore your dignity when you are being humiliated - The Bible says those who live by the sword will die by the sword, for revenge begets revenge...there's no end to it. That's what the world is today!

3. Speak your mind in the name of honesty and sincerity without concern for the others' feeling/interest (that's being selfish and no one likes a thoughtless person no matter how truthful he is)

4. Waiting for others to say 'Sorry' to you when there is a misunderstanding (forgive the sooner and you'll have peace).

5. Reject a favor from a trusted person because you are not an opportunist (you are demeaning the person's loving intention.)

6. Say you're poor and ugly when you're actually rich and beautiful! (negative proclamations delight the devils and undermine our strength. It isn't humility, but you're demeaning God's blessings and yourself!)

7. Blame others when something goes wrong (Were you not together with him?)
